Pre-concert Talk with Composer Jerod Tate at 1:30 p.m. Join the Tulsa Symphony as they present Mozart’s Overture to The Magic Flute, considered his greatest overture, from this comedic and romantic opera. Also on the program is Stravinsky’s imaginative ballet Firebird, ranging from spooky to pastoral to frenetic scoring. As a special treat, TSO presents the World Premiere of Jerod Tate’s Muscogee Hymn Suite.
